Covid-19 Vaccine update

Chautauqua County Health Department has transitioned to Phase 2 of the COVID-19 Moderna vaccination plan. We have received a limited amount of vaccine thus far. The first group to receive the vaccine in Phase 2 will be high contact critical workers and anyone remaining in Phase 1 who has not received the vaccine. To follow, will be persons aged 65 and older along with individuals in congregate settings. 

It is not known when we will receive an additional allotment of vaccine. We have started a list of those that would like to receive the vaccine. We are doing our very best to give out vaccinations we do have on hand at this time. We are prioritizing based on the guidelines provided to us by KDHE, which is included in this update. At the time we reach the prioritized phase for those on the list, they will be called & scheduled for an appointment to receive the vaccine. We would appreciate the community's patience throughout this process.
